What we collect
When you vote we collect your name, email address and phone number. When you make a partnership enquiry, we collect the business and contact details you choose to provide, your commercial interests and relevant campaign-source information. We also collect technical information needed to keep the vote fair — a browser identifier and coarse network signals. We do not use invasive device fingerprinting.
Why we need it
To validate your vote, to stop the same person voting twice for the same business, and to keep an audit trail of the results. Partnership enquiry details are used to understand your objectives, respond to you and prepare relevant proposals.
Marketing
Marketing choices are separate, optional and never pre-ticked. You can vote or make an enquiry without agreeing to ongoing marketing, and you can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any message.
How long we keep it
Voting records are retained for the duration of the awards year plus a defined retention period for audit purposes, after which personal details are removed. Partnership enquiries are retained only while commercially relevant or legally required.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where deletion would compromise the integrity of the vote, we remove your personal details and keep an anonymous record of the vote itself.
